English Teachers Needed for Pre-Primary to Upper Secondary (Class 3 to 11) Full Time

Timings:

• Pre-Primary: Monday to Thursday, 7:20 AM – 1:30 PM ; Friday 7:20 AM – 12:30 PM
• Upper Secondary: Monday to Thursday, 7:20 AM – 1:45 PM ; Friday 7:20 AM – 12:30 PM

HHS School System is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Teachers for its Pre-Primary to Upper Secondary (Classes 6 to 11) sections. The ideal candidates will bring a strong commitment to student learning, age-appropriate teaching strategies, and a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities (General):

For Pre-Primary Teachers (Pre-Nursery – Class 2):

• Deliver engaging, play-based, and activity-oriented lessons suitable for young learners.
• Foster foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Use songs, stories, art, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
• Monitor and support early childhood development milestones.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.

For Upper Secondary Teachers (Class 6 – 11):

• Teach subject-specific content (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, etc.) as per school curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with academic standards.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning.
• Monitor student performance and provide timely feedback and remedial support.
• Prepare students for exams, projects, and board requirements (where applicable).
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote a respectful learning atmosphere.

General Duties for Both Levels:

• Manage daily classroom operations, attendance, and student records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and section heads to improve learning outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Support co-curricular and enrichment activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

• Education:
• For Pre-Primary: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), B.Ed, or relevant field preferred.
• For Upper Secondary: Master’s degree in the relevant subject (e.g., M.Sc English, M.Sc Mathematics, etc.) with B.Ed preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the respective level (pre-primary or secondary).
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic academic tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to school policies.
