Join our Freelancing Capacity as an AI Security & API Testing Analyst where you will focus on ensuring the security and reliability of AI-powered systems through thorough API testing and vulnerability analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for executing security risk assessments and managing vulnerabilities to protect digital assets against potential threats. You apply your knowledge in automation and manual testing methods to confirm that APIs function securely and effectively under various environments. This position requires at least two years of practical experience and a strong foundation in API testing frameworks and security protocols. You will not manage a team in this role but will collaborate closely with developers, security specialists, and product managers to identify security gaps and implement corrective measures. Clear and effective communication in English is essential to document test results, analyze security risks, and present findings to stakeholders. Your work significantly contributes to the reliability and security posture of AI applications, facilitating safe integration and deployment across platforms.
Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive API testing including REST API testing to validate functionality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Perform security risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential vulnerabilities in AI systems and related APIs.
• Manage vulnerability detection and remediation processes to safeguard applications against exploitation.
• Execute penetration testing scenarios to mimic potential attack vectors and assess system resilience.
• Develop and maintain automation testing scripts and tools to increase efficiency and coverage of security tests.
• Use tools such as Postman to design, execute, and document API test cases effectively.
• Collaborate with developers and security teams to prioritize and mitigate identified risks.
• Document testing processes, results, and security findings clearly and accurately in English.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices related to API security and AI systems.
• Assist in improving security policies and protocols based on testing outcomes and evolving threats.
